Scrapbook

A selection of Zbrush doodles, Photoshop images and the likes. Many were tests to see how Zbrush works and what RAM restrictions have on poly count.

The images are in chronological order

Nemesis

This was a Zbrush test to see if it was possible to generate 3 separate displacement maps and Photoshop them together.

It wasn't. Normal maps need to be 16bit and not editable in Photoshop.

Testing texturing in Zbrush.

The base mesh rendered in Maya.

Also came across some small problems with tris when added to Zbrush.

Cthulhu

I did these for a friend as tests on poly count and multiple appendages. It aspired that I could not give the tentacles the detail they needed due to RAM restrictions.

Modeled in Maya and detailed in Zbrush
